Lotus Domino contains an object-oriented database structure, as well as Java and JavaScript support and an application development framework. WebTycho runs on a UNIX operating system and some parts of the program were written using the C, C++, and other computer languages.
Other programs used in conjunction with WebTycho:
FTP, File Transfer Protocol.
Sametime, a Lotus/IBM product used for the chat program and other real-time services.
